MANUAL SHUTOFF GROUP
NOTE: The shutoff group must be installed on the same
side of the engine that the governor is installed.
(1)
When right hand mounted, "RH FRONT" should
be visible from front of engine. When left hand
mounted, "LH FRONT" should be visible from
front of engine.
(2)
Put clean engine oil on the O-ring seal and lip-
type seal at assembly.
(3)
Pull shutoff lever until governor linkage stops
against internal stop. Turn adjustment screw
until it makes contact with lever.
Turn
adjustment screw one complete turn more and
tighten locknut.
