NOTE
Use a suitable ring compressor when installing piston in cylinder.
Install piston (1) in cylinder (7) and position the connecting rod on crankshaft (8).
NOTE
Dipper bolt is installed in camshaft side of connecting rod bearing cap. Install new
Iockwasher. Do not reuse Iockwasher.
Install connecting rod bearing cap (6) and Iockwasher (3) and secure with dipper bolt (5) and bolt (4).
Torque bolts to 90-100 in. Ibs (10047-17860gm. cm.).
Bend tangs on Iockwasher (3) around bolt (4) and dipper bolt (5) head.
