a. Removal. (figure 5-24)
(1) Clean area around oil seal (1).
(2) Using suitable tools, remove oil seal (1) from crankcase (2).

Installation. (figure 5-24)
(1) Clean crankcase mounting surface.
(2) Install oil seal (1) in crankcase (2).
