WARNING
Drycleaning solvent PD-680 used to clean parts is potentially dangerous to personnel and
property. Avoid repeated and prolonged skin contact. Do not use near open flame or
excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100°F-138°F (38°C–60°C).
Clean crankshaft (1) and bearing (2) with drycleaning solvent and dry thoroughly.
Inspect crankshaft and bearing for signs of excessive wear or other damage and replace as needed.
Refer to table 6-2 for wear limits.
Inspect crankcase bearing cup (3) and replace if excessively worn or otherwise damaged. Refer to table
6-2 for wear limits.
