b. Removal. (figure 4-47)
(1) Remove two assembled screws and washers (1) and remove fuel pump (2) and gasket (3).
N O T E
Perform step 2 only if fuel pump is being replaced.
(2) Remove elbows (4) and (5) from fuel pump (2).
c Installation.

(1) Install elbows (4) and (5).
(2) Ensure gasket mating surfaces are clean and old gasket material is removed.
(3) Install fuel pump (2) and gasket (3) and secure with two assembled screws and washers (1). Torque
screws to 55-65 in. lb (9831-11619 gr cm).
