ENGINE  WILL  NOT  DELIVER  RATED  POWER  (Cont) b.  Check  that  turbine  wheel  rotates  freely.  If  turbine  does  not  rotate,  then turbocharger  bearings  have  seized. c.  Inspect  turbine  wheel  for  nicks,  cracks,  or  contact. d.  Install  turbocharger  exhaust. e. Remove vehicle air inlet hose and pipe. f. Inspect compressor wheel and housing for contact. g.  Inspect  compressor  wheel  for  nicks,  cracks,  or  other  damage. WARNING Dry  cleaning  solvent  P-D-680  is  toxic  and  flammable. Wear  protective  goggles  and  gloves  and  use  only  in  a well-ventilated  area.  Avoid  contact  with  skin,  eyes,  and clothes  and  don’t  breathe  vapors.  Do  not  use  near open  flames  or  excessive  heat.  The  flash  point  is 100oF-138°F  (38oC-50oC).  If  you  become  dizzy  while using  cleaning  solvent,  get  fresh  air  immediately  and get  medical  aid.  If  contact  with  eyes  is  made,  wash your  eyes  with  water  and  get  medical  aid  immediately. h. Inspect compressor for excessive dirt or foreign material. If  necessary,  remove compressor housing, clean compressor wheel and housing with dry cleaning solvent,  and  install  compressor  housing. i.  Replace  turbocharger  assembly  if  damaged  (Refer  to  Paragraphs  4-2,  5-2, 5.1-2, 6-3, or 7-3 for appropriate engine model). n j. Install vehicle air inlet hose and pipe. Step 8. Check for leaks in engine air intake or exhaust manifold. Change  1 2-9 END  OF  TEST
