Replace rocker lever assembly (2) (7), (12), (14), or (16) if rocker lever has cracks.  Demagnetize levers that are to be reused. b.  Using new adjusting screw Discard rocker lever assembly if (1) or (4), check condition of adjusting screw does not move threads in rocker lever. freely in rocker lever. c.  Inspect ball socket seat of If socket is damaged or if bluing injector rocker levers (8) for pattern does not coat at least damage.  Apply Prussian blue 80 percent of socket, drill small compound with 0.500 in. hole over ball socket seat and (12.70 mm) check ball. drive damaged ball socket seat (10) out of injector rocker lever (8). Stake hole and install a new ball socket seat (10) in injector rocker lever (8). d.  Inspect bushings (6) or (9) Replace bushings (6) or (9) if for scratches, pitting, scoring, damaged or worn (refer to step 12f and excessive wear. for replacement). e.  Using suitable micrometer, Replace bushings (6) or (9) if not measure bushing inside diameter. within limits shown below (refer to step 12f for replacement). New Minimum  ........................................................... 1.1245 in.  (28.562 mm) New Maximum ........................................................... 1.1275 in.  (28.638 mm) Wear Limit  ................................................................ 1.1286 in.  (28.666 mm) f.  Replace bushings (6) or (9) Do this step only if bushings (6) or as follows: (9) are damaged or not within wear limits. (1) Using rocker lever block and Discard bushing(s). mandrel set (25), press bushings (6) or (9) out. 3-212
