(Contd) c.  Turn dial on indicator to zero. d.  Rotate accessory drive Normal backlash between a new gear (9) in opposite direction. accessory drive gear (9) and a new Reading on indicator shows camshaft gear (8) is 0.004-0.016 in. amount of backlash between (0.102-0.406 mm).  Backlash for new gears. accessory drive gear (8) must be at least 0.002 in.  (0.051 mm).  If back- lash is more than 0.016 in.  (0.406 mm), remove accessory drive hous- ing assembly (3) and replace acces- sory drive gear (9) (para. 3-49).
