Installation
1. Apply anti--seize compound to three new pipe plugs (27) and install in exhaust manifold (22).
2. Install three new gaskets (26) onto cylinders 4L, 5L, and 6L.
3. Install exhaust manifold (22) with 12 new self--locking nuts (21). Torque 12 new self--locking nuts (21) to 275 lb--
in. (31 NSm).
4. Install plate (24) on studs (25) with two new self--locking nuts (23).
5. Secure exhaust bracket (16) with two screws (20), four flat washers (19), and two new self--locking nuts (18).
6. Install U--bolt (17) and exhaust manifold bracket (16) with two nuts (13), two new lockwashers (14), and two flat
washers (15).
