Installation
1. Install a new preformed packing (20) on shouldered shaft (16).
2. Apply lubricant (item 14, WP 0100 00) to shouldered shaft (16).
3. Align spur gear (19) with bore in crankcase and install shouldered shaft (16) through crankcase and spur gear.

4. Apply lubricant (item 12, WP 0100 00) to studs (40).
5. Secure shouldered shaft (16) using two slotted nuts (15). Torque two slotted nuts (15) to 46--50 lb--ft (62--68
NSm).
6. Secure two slotted nuts (15) with new lockwire (14).
