Installation -- Continued
6. Install spur gear (6) onto spur gearshaft (7) and secure with slotted nut (5).
7. Apply lubricant to spur gearshaft (7) and stud (8).
8. Torque slotted nut (5) to 300--325 lb--ft (407--441 NSm).
9. Install mounting bracket (3) and new gasket (4), securing with four flat washers (2) and four new self--locking nuts
(1).
