A:

customer. See wire and cable gage charts
for size selection.
NOTE
B:
Do not use remote emergency switch
for normal engine shutdown. The use of
emergency switch requires manual reset of
air shut-off at top of air inlet housing.
NOTE
C:
Caterpillar alarm
and prealarm
contacts are rated for a maximum of 3 amps
inductive at the charging system voltage.
NOTE
D:
Switch to be a single pole, normally
open switch (may be latching if desired) with
a minimum contact rating of .5 amp
inductive at the charging system voltage.
NOTE
E:
Switch to be a single pole, normally
open switch (may be latching if desired) with
a minimum contact rating of 1 amp inductive
at the charging system voltage.

F:
Magnetic pick-up and oil pressure
switch to be wired to electric governor
control (Woodward 2301) with a two
conductor shielded cable (Belden Corp.
type 8780 or equivalent). Shields are to be
grounded at electric governor control
grounding stud. Each shield should not have
more than one ground connection.
