WARNING
Heat-protective cloth mittens must be worn to prevent serious injury to hands when
handling heated parts.

Crankshaft gear (2)
and machine key (3)

Using a oxy/acetylene heating torch,
heat crankshaft gear to 300° to 400°F
(150° to 205°C).
