Check for cracks, breaks, or damaged threads. Check  for  broken  electrical  connector. Replace  solenoid  valve  if  damaged. Place  into  control  valve  bore  (4)  and check for freedom of movement. If  binding  is  found,  check  for  dirt  or damage. Wipe control valve and control valve bore (4)  clean  and  recheck  for  freedom  of movement. Replace  control  valve  if  damaged. Check for cracks or breaks. Check for worn control valve spring. Replace  parts  if  damaged. Put  into  control  valve  bore  (4). a. Put in place. b. Using   5/32-inch   hex   wrench,   tighten. a. Apply  a  coat  of  lubricating  oil. b. Push onto solenoid valve in correct order. a. Screw  into  solenoid  valve  bore  (11). b. Using  solenoid  wrench,  tighten. 2-286
