ACTION LOCATION ITEM REMARKS WARNING Safety goggles must be worn to prevent eye injury caused by flying steel chips. 1. Exhaust manifold (1) Four  nut  locking plates  (2)  and  four key  washers  (3) Using   16-ounce   ball-peen   hammer   and 1/2-inch cold chisel, bend back tabs on nut locking  plates  and  key  washers. 2. 3. Eight  screws  (4), four  nut  locking plates  (2),  and eight sleeve bearings  (5) Using  1/2-inch  drive  W-inch  socket, 6-inch  extension,  and  ratchet  handle, unscrew and take off. Discard  nut  locking  plates. Four  screws  (6), four key washers (3),  and  two  retain- ing  straps  (7) Using   1/2-inch   drive   5/8-inch   socket, 6-inch  extension,  and  ratchet  handle, unscrew and take off.
