CAUTION
When handling injector, use care not to drop or lose any parts. Do not lose check ball.

Injector adapter (6)
Cup retainer (7)
Stand Injector upright. Screw off cup
retainer (7) and remove injector cup (8).
CAUTION
Do not touch internal parts unless hands are clean and moistened with fuel oil. Acids
from skin can corrode internal parts and affect their close tolerances.

Injector barrel (9)
a.
Hold together and set barrel end down.

While holding injector barrel, lift
adapter (6)
injector adapter straight up.
9.
injector barrel (9)
Lift up and tilt until check ball (10) falls out.
Set check ball in a safe place.
