Right   end   cover   is   removed   along   with   lube   tube,   equalizer   valve   housing,   and   scavenge tube.   Refer   to   paragraph   4-7. Left   end   cover   is   removed   along   with   filter-in   tube,   filter-out   tube,   sump   communication tube,   and   bevel   gear   driven   shaft.   Refer   to   paragraph   4-8. WARNING Check   slings   and   lifting   devices   for   cuts,   breaks,   or   wear   before   hoisting transmission   and   during   hoisting.   Slings   and   lifting   devices   can   break   and cause   injury   or   death. Bevel   gear   assembly   must   be   lifted   using   Sling   and   hoist.   To   avoid   injury,   keep clear   of   bevel   gear   assembly   at   all   times.   DO  not   let   bevel   gear   assembly swing   freely   during   hoisting. Go  to  Sheet  2 4-42 Para.  4-11,  Task  1
