Remove either drain plug (1) or (2) and drain oil into suitable container.
Remove lower air duct (para. 4-15).
Remove eight screws (3) and washers (4) and remove oil pan (5) and gasket (6).
W A R N I N G
Dry cleaning solvent PD-680 used to clean parts is potentially dangerous to personnel
and property. Avoid repeated and prolonged skin contact. Do not use near open flame
or excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100°F -138°F (38°C-60°C).
Clean oil pan (5) and drain plug (1) or (2) with dry cleaning solvent and dry thoroughly.
Inspect oil pan and drain plugs for signs of damage. Replace as needed.
Replace washer (7) on drain plug (1) or (2).
Clean gasket surfaces and remove old gasket material.

Install oil pan (5) and gasket (6) and secure with eight screws (3) and washers (4). Torque screws to
25-30 in. Ibs. (4465-5358 gr. cm.).
Install drain plug (1) or (2) with washer (7).
Install lower air duct (para. 4-15).
Refill engine oil. Refer to LO 9-2805-256-12.
