a. Removal. (figure 5-7)
(1) Disconnect low voltage cable (1) from ignition control unit (2).
(2) Loosen connector nut (3) and remove ignition cable (4) from ignition control unit (2).
(3) Remove screw (5) and washer (6).
(4) Loosen screw (7) and remove ignition control unit (2).

Install ignition control unit (2) and secure with screw (7), and screw (5) and washer (6).
Connect low voltage cable (1) to ignition control unit (2).
Install ignition cable (4), and tighten connector nut (2).
