Remove two screws (1)
and gasket (4).
and plastic washers (2) securing throttle housing cover (3) and remove cover (3)
Remove screw (5) and washer (6) securing throttle lever (7) to carburetor throttle rod (8) and remove
lever from rod.
Loosen clamp (9) on governor control rod housing (10) and remove control rod housing (10) from throttle
housing (11).
Remove two screws (12) and washers (13) securing throttle housing (11) to carburetor (14) and remove
throttle housing (11), gasket (15) rear cover (16), and gasket (17).
Hold carburetor throttle (18) 1/16 in. from idle position, loosen lock nut (19) on control rod (20), and
adjust clevis (21) until throttle lever (7) fits onto carburetor throttle rod (8).
Tighten lock nut (19).
Install gasket (17), rear cover (16), gasket (15) and throttle housing (11), and secure using two screws
(12) and washers (13).
Install governor control rod housing (10) on throttle housing (11) and secure with clamp (9).
Install throttle lever (7) on carburetor throttle rod (8) and secure with screw (5) and washer (6).
Install throttle housing cover (3) and gasket (4) on throttle housing (11)
and plastic washers (2).
Start engine (para. 2-9).
and secure with two screws (1)
To regulate engine governed speed, turn nut (22) clockwise to increase engine speed or
counterclockwise to decrease engine speed.
Stop engine (para. 2-10).
