(figure 4-28) (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) (8) (9) Remove  throttle  control  (para.  4-33). Disconnect breather line (1) from air intake elbow (2). Loosen clamp (3) and remove air cleaner duct (4) from air intake elbow (2). Remove screw (5) and washers (6) and remove air intake elbow (2) and gasket (7). Remove  two  screws  (8)  and  washers  (9)  and  remove  throttle  housing  cover  (10)  and  gasket  (11). Remove  screw  (12)  ,  washer  (13)  and  remove  throttle  lever  (14)  from  carburetor  (15). Remove  two  screws  (16),  washers  (17)  and  remove  throttle  housing  (18),  gasket  (19),  rear  cover  (20) and gasket (21). Disconnect  fuel  line  (22)  from  carburetor  (15). Remove  two  nuts  (23)  and  washers  (24)  securing  carburetor  (15)  to  intake  manifold  (25)  and  remove carburetor  (15)  and  gasket  (26). WARNING Drycleaning  solvent  PD-680  used  to  clean  parts  is  potentially  dangerous  to  personnel  and property. Avoid repeated and prolonged skin contact. Do not use near open flame or excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100°F-138°F (38°C-60°C). c. Inspection. (1) (2) (3) 4-62 Clean  carburetor  with  drycleaning  solvent,  and  dry  thoroughly. Inspect  carburetor  for  cracks,  excessive  wear,  stripped  threads  or  any  other  signs  of  damage  and replace  as  needed. Clean all gasket surfaces and ensure that old gasket material is removed.
