Fuel Pump (cont).
Removal. (figure 4-31)
(1) Loosen fuel line (1) at elbow (2) on fuel pump (3).
NOTE
Perform step 2 only if fuel pump is being replaced.
(2) Remove elbow (2) from fuel pump (3).
(3) Remove two screws (4) and washers (5) securing fuel pump (3) and remove pump and gasket (6).

Installation. (figure 4-31)
(1) Clean mounting surface on engine and fuel pump.
(2) Position fuel pump (3) with gasket (6) on engine and secure with two screws (4) and washers (5).
(3) Install elbow (2) on fuel pump (3) and aline it with fuel line fitting (1).
(4) Connect fuel line (1) to elbow (2) on fuel pump (3).
