Remove   seal   (4)   from   tachometer   adapter   (1)   and   inspect   seal   (4)   and   replace   if   worn   or   otherwise d a m a g e d. W A R N I NG Drycleaning   solvent   PD-680   used   to   clean   parts   is   potentially   dangerous   to   personnel   and property.   Avoid   repeated   and   prolonged   skin   contact.   Do   not   use   near   open   flame   or excessive   heat.   Flash   point   of   solvent   is   100°F.-138°F.   (38°C.-6O°C.). Clean   tachometer   adapter   (1)   and   gear   shaft   (3)   with   drycleaning   solvent,   and   dry   thoroughly. Inspect   tachometer   adapter   (1)   and   gear   shaft   (3)   and   replace   if   cracked   or   otherwise   damaged. Install   seal   (4)   in   tachometer   adapter   (1). Install   gear   shaft   (3)   and   gasket   (2)   and   tachometer   adapter   (1)   as   an   assembly.
