WARNING
Drycleaning solvent PD-680 used to clean parts is potentially dangerous to personnel and

property. Avoid repeated and prolonged skin contact. Do not use near open flame or
excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100°F-138°F (38°C-60°C).
Clean all items in drycleaning solvent, and dry thoroughly.
Inspect all items for wear, and replace all items that are worn or otherwise damaged. Refer to table 6-2
for wear limits.

Install eight valve tappets (10).
Install camshaft gear (9) and key (11 ) on camshaft (8).
Aline timing marks on camshaft gear with mark on crankshaft gear (12).
Install camshaft (8) and gear (9) assembly.
Ensure thrust plate gasket mating surfaces are clean and old gasket material is removed.
Install spring (7), ball (6), thrust plate (4), new gasket (5), and secure with two screws (1), washers (2),
and new sealing washers (3).
