INTAKE AND EXHAUST VALVE TIMING PROCEDURE

REMOVAL
1. Remove timing access cover (1) on right side
of engine.

a. Remove three cap screws (2), and remove
timing access cover (1).

2 (3 places)
2. Remove intake valve adjustment cover (3)
from 6R cylinder.
a. Remove two bolts (4) and flat washers (5) attaching intake valve adjusting cover. Remove
cover and gasket. Discard gasket (6).
