AFTER RUN-IN
NOTE
If the engine will be used within 30 days, cap or plug all openings. If
the engine will be stored longer than 30 days, preserve as directed in
If a dynamometer is not available, the engine may be installed in a
vehicle and the vehicle driven at equally increasing speed increments
from 0 to maximum speed in 15-minute intervals over the first 3 hours
of operation. The engine may then be considered run-in.
