CLEANING

INSPECTION
All parts must be inspected with care. Replace part if damage or wear exceeds allowable
limits.

INSTALLATION
1. Install starter relay mounting bracket (1).
a. Apply a small amount of lubricant (item 23, WP 0173) to four bolts (2), (4).
b. Position LVPM bracket (1).
c. Install wiring harness and clamp (5), secure bracket with two bolts (4), and two new lock
washers (3) (item 86, WP 0175).
d. Secure two bolts (2) with two new lock washers (3) (item 86, WP 0175).
e. Tighten bolts (2) and (4) to 156 to 180 inch-pounds (18-20 Nm).
