TM 9--2815--247--34 0025 00--1 FLYWHEEL ADAPTER ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT 0025 00 THIS WORK PACKAGE COVERS: Removal, Installation INITIAL SETUP: Tools and Special Tools General mechanic’s tool kit (item 19, WP 0103 00) Multimeter (item 52, WP 0103 00) Engine turning tool (damper end) (item 2, WP 0104 00) Materials/Parts Lubricant (item 12, WP 0100 00) Equipment Conditions Engine cleaned and drained (TM 9--2350--292--10) Engine level on flat surface (WP 0021 00) Flywheel removed (WP 0024 00) References TM 9--2350--292--20 Removal 1.   Install engine turning tool (1) to PTO coupling (2) and block to hold crankshaft from turning. 2.   Remove 12 screws (3) from flywheel adapter (4). 3.   Install three screws (3) from flywheel adapter into threaded puller holes (5). 4.   Alternately tighten three screws (3) and pull flywheel adapter (4) from crankshaft pins (6). 5.   Remove puller screws (3). 6.   Inspect parts for damage and replace as required.
