The following procedures apply to one or all covers. If covers only need to be removed from one bank, major assem- blies can be removed from just one. Fuel/water separator need not be removed if rocker cover for cylinder 1L is not going to be removed. Removal 1.   Remove four screws (1) and four flat washers (2). 2.   Remove spacer plate (3), two access covers (4), and two gaskets (5). Discard gaskets. Figure 9 1 2 3 4 5
