ROCKER ARM COVER ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT -- CONTINUED

Removal -- Continued
CAUTION
The cylinder and rocker arm cover assembly are ma-
chined as an assembly. The number on rocker arm cover
assembly must match with its mating number on the cyl-
inder to ensure camshaft bearing alignment and running
clearance. If rocker arm cover assembly is damaged,
entire cylinder and rocker arm cover assembly must be
replaced.
NOTE
Cylinders are equipped with replaceable camshaft bear-
ings. The bearing half in cover should remain with rocker
arm cover assembly.
18. Remove rocker arm cover assembly (13).
19. Inspect parts for damage and replace as required.
