3. Check to be sure cylinder nozzle seat (33) is free from excessive carbon deposits and that the seat face is free
from surface roughness.
4. Remove carbon deposits and/or surface roughness using nozzle carbon cutter (34).

5. Apply a small amount of anti--seize compound to threads of fuel injector nozzle and holder (3) and install in cylin-
der head.
