Repair -- Continued
8. Remove ferrule (29) from end of valve guide replacer (30).
9. Place new valve guide (17) over replacer with short end of guide entering hollow replacer handle. Replace ferrule
(29) to retain guide on replacer (30).
10. Place assembled valve guide and replacer (30) into valve guide bore in cylinder head assembly (1). Carefully
drive valve guide (17) into cylinder head assembly (1) until flange on valve guide (17) is positioned against top
face of guide bore.
11. Remove ferrule (29) and withdraw replacer (30) from valve guide (17).
