17. The cylinder assembly should be replaced when the cylinder bore (21) has excessive scratches, scoring, or ring
ridge, or when the bore is glazed or smooth.

18. Straighten bent cooling fins (23) as near as possible to their original spacing.
19. Use a fine mill file to remove sharp corners of broken cooling fins (23). Do not remove more metal than neces-
sary to produce a smoothly--blended edge on the damaged fin.
