Removal -- Continued
5. Install two mechanical pullers (11) and pull oil seal cap (3) and oil seal housing (6) free of pins (12).
NOTE
To help free the oil seal cap and oil seal housing from the
pins, tap the edges with a soft--faced hammer.
6. Remove mechanical pullers (11).
7. Separate oil seal cap (3) from pins (13) in oil seal housing (6) and remove.
8. Remove gasket (14). Discard gasket.
