TM 9--2815--247--34 0080 00--10 OIL PAN ASSEMBLY REPAIR -- CONTINUED 0080 00 Installation -- Continued WARNING 3.   Attach sling assembly (8) to engine lifting eyes (9) and to a suitable lifting device. 4.   Take slack out of lifting device and remove four screws (10) and four flat washers (11). 5.   Lift the engine (12) from the maintenance stand (13) and carefully lower onto the oil pan (4). 6.   Install two new self--locking nuts (7) and two flat washers (3) one on each side, near the center of the oil pan (4). 7.   Lift the engine (12) and lower back onto the maintenance stand (13). 8.   Secure the engine (12) with four screws (10) and four flat washers (11). 9.   Remove sling assembly (8). 10. Install 54 new self--locking nuts (7) and 54 flat washers (3). 11. Alternately tighten 56 new self--locking nuts (7) to 225 lb--in (25.4 NSm). Figure 70 9 9 8 10 11 3 7 4 12 13
