Assembly
1. Install new needle roller bearing (35) and new plain encased seal (34) into housing (8).
2. Install new needle roller bearing (33), thrust washer (32), and new needle roller bearing (31) into housing (8).
3. Install spur gearshaft (30) into housing (8).
4. Install fuel metering pump flexible shaft coupling hub and sleeve. Refer to WP 0038 00.
5. Install three new pipe plugs (28 and 29) into housing (8).
6. Apply a thin coat of gasket cement on mating surface of housing (9).
NOTE
Top two studs between housings (8 and 9) do not receive
nuts and washers at this time as the accessory drive sling
will be attached later.
7. Secure housing (9) to housing (8) using seven new self--locking nuts (26) and seven flat washers (27).
