Test
NOTE
Testing of fuel injection pump advance assembly is re-
quired on all units that have been repaired to ensure opti-
mum engine performance. This testing will be accom-
plished prior to assembly of the engine rear fan and
accessory drive housing assembly. The test stand is de-
signed to check and bench test the advance characteris-
tics of the fuel injection pump advance assembly under
conditions simulating engine operation over an operating
range of 200 to 2600 rpm.
1. Check fuel level (74) and oil level gauges (75) on fuel injection advance test stand (76).
2. Fill supply tank(s) if either gauge (74 or 75) indicates less than half full. Use oil, specification MIL--L--45199
(Grade 30) or fuel, specification VV--L--800.
