12. Position shims (20) of predetermined thickness on inner race of ball bearing (19), and, using an arbor press (13),
press bevel gearshaft (16) into ball bearing (19).

13. Install sleeve spacer (18) onto bevel gearshaft (16).
14. Using an arbor press (13), press bevel gearshaft (16) into ball bearing (17).
WARNING
15. Secure ball bearing (17) to bevel gearshaft (16) with a new retaining ring (15).
