4. Check timing hole in fuel metering pump (6), making sure marked tooth (11) (wide tooth painted white) is visible.
5. If marked tooth (11) is not visible, rotate flywheel (8) counterclockwise 360°, as viewed from the flywheel end, until
“1R INJ PORT CLOSE” timing mark (9) aligns with engine timing mark (10) and marked tooth (11) is visible in tim-
ing hole on fuel metering pump (6).
