Remove snap ring (30, FIGURE 3-52) and carefully lift rotor from weight retainer (31). Replace head on rotor.
Reinstall rotor retainer and liner locating ring, refer to FIGURE 3-70.

Remove screw (32, FIGURE 3-52), valve stop (33), spring (34), and delivery valve (35) from rotor. If delivery
valve does not slide out freely from bore, use extractor (13383) to remove it, refer to FIGURE 3-71.

If damaged, remove four fuel connectors (36, FIGURE 3-52) from head.

Remove retaining ring (37), spring washer (38), thrust washer (39), and drive shaft (41).

Remove drive shaft seals (40).

If required, press bushings (77, 78, and 79, FIGURE 3-45) from housing (80) and replace.

Warning
Cleaning solvent Is flammable and toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Skin/eye protection
required. Avoid repeated/prolonged contact. Good general ventilation is normally adequate.
Parts should be washed in dry cleaning solvent (P-D-680) and then placed in a clean pan containing clean diesel fuel or
calibrating oil.
