Test for defective battery charging alternator. a. Inspect and test battery charging alternator.  Refer to paragraph 3-11.1.  If alternator not defective, do step 3. b. Repair or replace battery charging alternator.  Refer to paragraph 3-11. Step 3. Check for breaks or loose connections in charging circuit.
