NOTE The following procedures require complete access to the engine.  If necessary, remove engine from generator set, refer to TM 9-6115-671-14.   Mount engine on repair stand (NSN 4910-01-016-1835 or equal) as outlined in paragraph 4.10. a.   Removal. (1)     Remove fan drive belt, refer to TM 9-6115-671-14. (2)     Remove bolts (2, Figure 4-61), flange (3), and crankshaft pulley (1). FIGURE 4-61.  CRANKSHAFT PULLEY b.   Inspection. (1)     Remove crankshaft pulley (1), refer to 4.9.1.a. (2)     Inspect crankshaft pulley (1) for cracks and wear.  Replace as necessary. (3)     Install crankshaft pulley, refer to 4.9.1.d. c. Replacement. (1)     Remove crankshaft pulley (1), refer to 4.9.1.a. (2)     Inspect crankshaft pulley (1) refer to 4.9.1.b.  Replace if defective. (3)     Install crankshaft pulley, refer to 4.9.1.d.
