b. Inspection.
(1)
Remove thermostat (9, Figure 3-1), refer to step a.
(2)
Inspect thermostat (9) for excessive wear or damage.
(3)
Remove plug (11) and O-ring seal (12).
(4)
Inspect water manifold / thermostat cover (8) for cracks, corrosion, or other damage.
(5)
Inspect water temperature sender (15) if installed.
