(2) Inspect oil filter assembly, refer to step b.  Replace oil filter head (7, Figure 3-9), oil filter adapter (8), or tubes (10 and 11) if inspection reveals cracks, corrosion, or any other damage.  For installation of oil filter assembly, refer to step d. (3) For servicing of engine lubrication system, refer to TM 9-6115-672-14. d.   Installation. (1) Remove all covering installed during step a (8).
