Observe gauges for both left and right air cleaners.

Remove the cover.
If air cleaner restriction gauge registers 762 mm (30
inches) H20, clean or replace air cleaner elements.
NOTICE
Service the air cleaners with engine stopped.
Keep spare filter elements on hand for replacement.
Changing Air Cleaner Elements

Remove the element.

Release the cover fasteners from around the
filter housing.
4.
Clean the inside of the housing.
