TM 9--2815--247--34 0076 00--4 CAMSHAFT, DRIVE GEARS, AND ASSOCIATED PARTS REPAIR -- CONTINUED 0076 00 Disassembly 1.   Remove five groups of camshaft flanges (15) and inter--cylinder sleeves (17) and separate the flanges from the sleeves. Discard inter--cylinder sleeves. 2.   Remove preformed packing (18). Discard packing. 3.   Remove two hose clamps (10) and air duct hose (19). Discard hose. 4.   Remove four self--locking nuts (20) and four flat washers (21), then remove camshaft adapter (22) and straight adapter (23) as an assembly. Discard self--locking nuts. 5.   Remove two preformed packings (24 and 25). Discard preformed packings. 6.   Remove two screws (26), two lockwashers (27) and two flat washers (28). Discard lockwashers. 7.   Remove straight adapter (23) and gasket (29) from camshaft adapter (22). Discard gasket. NOTE It will be necessary to move the camshaft drive gear away from the camshaft driven gear to gain clearance for removal of camshaft assembly. 8.   Remove camshaft assembly (30) from mechanical housing (31). 9.   Remove bevel gear shaft (6) from mechanical housing (31).
