3. Separate two shaft retaining plates (6) from front fan drive housing assembly and rear accessory housing assem-
bly.
4. Push the front and rear metal tube assemblies (2 and 3) together to expose the preformed packings (7).

5. Using retaining ring pliers (8) remove retaining ring (9) from groove in straight shaft (10) and move back on shaft.
6. Push straight shaft (10) into front fan drive housing assembly (11) until opposite end of shaft is exposed at rear
accessory housing assembly (12).
