GENERAL. This chapter describes the Unit maintenance tasks to be performed on the Diesel Engine Assembly, Hatz 2 G 40. 2-2. COMMON TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT. Common  tools  and  equipment  are  issued  to  Unit  maintenance  personnel  for  maintaining  the  Diesel  Engine  Assembly, Hatz 2 G 40.  Common tools and equipment should not be used for purposes other than those prescribed and should be properly stored when not in use.  For authorized common tools and equipment, refer to the Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE), CTA 50-970, or CTA 8-100, as applicable to your unit. 2-3.
