INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
Fabricate from NSN 5305-01-145-8380.
2.
Cut off head of screw.
3.
Round off edge of nonthreaded end as shown above.
4.
Cut a slit approximately 0.062 in. (1.57 mm) wide and 0.0125 in. (3.17 mm) deep in non-threaded end as shown above.
5.
Remove any burrs after cutting.
