Lock tabs are installed on two studs located in center of each engine
compression brake housing.
Two spacers are installed on two front studs of front engine compression
brake housing.

Six new lock

Put on two center studs of each engine
compression brake housing.
Twelve new lock-
washers (8) and
eighteen nuts (9)
Using 1/2-inch drive 3/4-inch socket, 6-
inch extension, and 0 to 250 ft lb (0 to 350
Nm) torque wrench, screw on and tighten
to 55 to 60 ft lb (77 to 84 Nm) as shown
in Tightening Sequence.
